A broad, multidisciplinary tool that searches in-depth across the Libraries' print, electronic collections and open access contents. Use this to find journal articles, newspaper articles, books, and dissertations. Filter search results by type of source (including peer-review), subject area, year, etc.

Traditional author/title/subject and keyword search of print and electronic books, journal titles, videos, etc. in the Libraries' collections.

OpenCourseWare (OCW) are course lessons created at universities and published for free via the Internet.


A massive open online course (MOOC) is an online course aimed at unlimited participation and open access via the web.


Inter-Library Loan

The inter-library loan services can be used when borrowing items that are not owned by our library from other libraries or institutions affiliated with our library.

Document Delivery Service

This service provides utilization of academic materials not possessed by our libraries without having to visit the depository institutions by requesting document delivery to other collaborating domestic institutions.

Purchase Request

SNU faculty members, staffs and students may make a purchase request for new additions to the Library’s collections.

Library Workshop & Instruction

The Libraries offers workshops on resources, tutorials, skills, or services to help you to better understand research strategies and available resources.


Loan & Return

These pages explain circulation services and policies, including borrowing periods, renewals, and return policies.

Materials Booking

Users may initiate a hold request on an item that has already been checked out to another person, or that is in the process of being catalogued.
